The Big Gas Debate is back! Following the success of the last 3 years’ Big Gas Debate in London, European Gas Conference is hosting the fourth edition of the debate and drinks networking reception on Wednesday 28th June 2017, from 5:30pm, on Hogan Lovells’ roof top terrace in Central London.

As per tradition, Prof. Jonathan Stern, Chairman Natural Gas Research Programme and Senior Research Fellow, the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, will be moderating the debate.

Once you have applied for your ticket, you will receive an email confirming your attendance two weeks after your application.
How does it work?
Held under the Chatham House Rule the event is based on the Oxford-Style format. After a five minute introduction from the moderator, each panellist will present a ten-minute opening statement either proposing or opposing the motion. This will be followed by 20 minutes of questions from the audience and inter-panel challenges. To conclude, each panellist will deliver a five-minute closing argument followed by an audience vote.
