Snam, a European leader in the construction and integrated management of natural gas infrastructure, operates and develops Europe’s largest, most accessible pipeline network (more than 40,000 km), the largest storage infrastructure (19 bcm capacity) and one of the first LNG terminals built in Europe.
Snam’s investments aim to facilitate the European Energy Union network integration and to promote natural gas as a key pillar of a sustainable energy mix.
With its 3,000 people, Snam is active in natural gas transportation, storage and regasification. lt also operates, through associated companies, in Austria (TAG, GCA), France (TIGF), United Kingdom (lnterconnector UK) and is shareholder of the TAP pipeline.
